PRE-KARATE, BEGINNER, INTERMEDIATE, ADVANCED, BOOK YOUR FREE CLASS TODAY
At BMS Karate, we offer a variety of martial arts
programs for every skill and experience level.
Our programs are designed to improve our student’s life through development of the body, mind and spirit.
Pre-Karate
Pre-Karate, designed for students ages 4-6, offers a fun, safe environment for students to learn the very basics of karate. This program helps develop focus, listening skills, self-control, coordination, balance and large motor skills.
Our Stripe and belt ranking system helps students understand goals and how to achieve them through hard work and dedication. Children in this class will be prepared for future advancement to a more challenging, technically advanced children’s karate program.
Beginner
Students, of any age, who have no, or very little, past martial arts experience will begin in this program. At White Belt, students are shown the very basic fundamentals of Martial Arts training. From the bowing to the kiai, our students learn what it takes to become a true martial artist.
This program includes:
- Uniform
- Belt
- Unlimited Training
- Examination fees, yellow belt grading and certification

Intermediate
The Intermediate Program is a more challenging, technically advanced program for students who graduated from our Beginner Program. With enforced teachings on respect, discipline, confidence, self-control and other important life skills, we focus on moving forward to a future in the Advanced Program.
This program package includes:
- Red uniform with crest
- Unlimited Intermediate training
- Intermediate examinations, assessments –
- Grading’s, ceremony and certification
- All belts from Yellow to Purple
- Special training events and seminars
- Introduction to Weapons training
- 10% Discount on all items in the Pro Shop
- Complete Sparring Equipment Package
- BMS Karate Gym Bag and Water Bottle
Advanced
Goal setting and perseverance are important lessons learned in our BMS Karate Programs. Those who graduate from our Intermediate Program are now ready to be challenged in our highest-level program.
This program’s package includes:
- Black Uniform with crest
- All belts in advanced level up to Advanced Brown
- Unlimited Advanced level training
- Special guest instructor classes and seminars
- Instructor training and Black Belt classes
- Kobudo Weapon package (Bo, Sai, Tonfa, oar)
- 15% discount on all items in the Pro Shop
- Eligibility for Nidan, Sandan, Yondan level and Beyond

To start your karate journey on the right foot, we provide a FREE one-on-one introductory class to all potential students!
This helps us to ensure our students get the most out of our programs and allows the student to try a commitment-free class before signing up. We take this time to identify the individual needs and interests of each student, so they can be matched with the Sensei who will bring them the most enjoyable practice.
For very young students this helps us work with parents to evaluate readiness for our programs. If a student is too young or seems uninterested, we will advise you to return at a later date for another assessment before registration.
